An antibiotic that acts actively against Gram-negative bacterias in animals.
Each 1 mL contains:
Spectinomycin 50 mg
(as dihydrochloride pentahydrate)
Colistin Sulphate 1,200,000 I.U.
Spectinomycin and Colistin acts against Gram-negative
bacteria mainly those responsible for gastroenteritis in
newborn and young animals (Colibacilli and Salmonella).
Used for the prevention and treatment of colibacillary
infectious enteritis in kids and lambs. The combination of
colistin and spectinomycin acts additively. Colistin is an
antibiotic from the group of polymyxins with a bactericidal
action against Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli,
Haemophilus and Salmonella spp. Spectinomycin acts
bacteriostatic or bactericidal, against mainly Gram-negative
bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella spp. and
