A tetracycline antibiotic used to treat a number of different bacterial infections by preventing the growth of bacteria’s.

Composition

Each 1 gm contains:
Doxycycline Hydrochloride 200 mg
Doxycycline is an antibiotic that is active against Gram-positive and
Gram-negative bacteria. Doxycycline is totally absorbed in the
alimentary tract then removed from the body very slowly
via the urine. It remains in the body for approximately 15 hours.

Indications

A broad spectrum antibiotic used for the treatment and control of
respiratory tract infections such as CRD-Complex, Synovitis,
Sinusitis caused by Mycoplasma spp.; and GIT infections caused by
E.coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Chlamydia and certain
large viruses.

Dosage

For oral administration:
Poultry: 100 gm / 200 Litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Cattle and swine: Twice daily 5 gm per 100 Kg body weight for
3-5 days.
